Wirenova is a general-audience news website operated by AuroNile at wirenova.net. This policy explains the data processing used by the current website and the choices available to readers.
Our hosting, delivery, and security providers may process an IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, referring URL, and diagnostic or security logs to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot problems. Wirenova also maintains aggregate article view counts on its server. We do not require reader accounts.
If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any information you choose to include so we can respond.
The site may use storage needed for security and core operation. Separately, Wirenova saves your privacy choice under wirenova-consent-v1 in first-party local storage. That saved value tells this browser whether to load the optional services described below; Wirenova does not intentionally send the value itself to Google.
Wirenova uses a Basic Consent Mode implementation. Before a choice, analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data, and ad_personalization are denied, and the Google Analytics and Google AdSense tags are not loaded. Accepting optional technologies grants those four signals and loads the configured tags. Rejecting leaves them denied and does not limit access to the news.
You can reopen Privacy choices in the footer to see or change the saved choice. If you withdraw acceptance, the site sends a denied consent update and reloads so the optional Google tags are no longer present on subsequent browsing. You can also delete cookies and site data in your browser; doing that may make the banner appear again.
Google Analytics is configured on Wirenova but loads only after you accept optional technologies. It helps us understand readership in aggregate, including users and sessions, pages viewed, referral information, approximate geographic area, browser and device characteristics, and engagement. When analytics storage is granted, Google Analytics may use first-party identifiers such as the _ga cookie.
Google states that IP addresses may be used at collection time to derive approximate location and are then discarded before the data is logged in Google Analytics. We do not intentionally send names or email addresses to Analytics. Analytics data is subject to the retention settings and controls in our Google Analytics account.
For more information, see Google Analytics data collection, Google's Privacy Policy, and the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Google AdSense is technically integrated with Wirenova, but its tag loads only after you accept optional technologies. Whether ads appear—and their format or personalization—also depends on Google's approval, our AdSense account settings, your consent, and regional requirements.
When AdSense is active, Google may process the page URL, IP address, browser or device information, ad interactions, and cookies or other identifiers to deliver and measure ads, limit how often ads appear, prevent fraud, and personalize ads where permitted. Non-personalized ads are not based on a user profile, but Google explains that they may still use cookies or identifiers for functions such as frequency capping, aggregated reporting, and combating fraud and abuse.
You can learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services, review Google's AdSense cookie information, and manage Google ad preferences through My Ad Center.
For personalized advertising to eligible visitors in the EEA, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, a Google-certified consent management platform configured for the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework must also be activated and verified in AdSense Privacy & messaging. Wirenova's site-level banner and Consent Mode code do not by themselves establish that this separate AdSense account requirement has been completed.
We may disclose information when legally required, to protect rights and security, or during a business reorganization subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not sell reader contact information.
Your consent choice remains in this browser until you change it or clear site data. Aggregate article statistics may be retained long term; contact messages are retained only as reasonably needed; and provider data and logs follow the provider's settings and policies. Providers may process data in countries other than your own.
Changing the Wirenova choice controls future loading on this site. It does not itself erase cookies already stored in the browser or data previously processed by a provider. You can delete browser cookies and site data and use the Google controls linked above.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a data protection authority. To make a request, email contact@wirenova.net. We may need to verify the request.
Wirenova is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information. We may update this policy as our services or applicable requirements change. The date above identifies the latest version.
